Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Linum Consult. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of projects from initial pre-contract award to construction-phase delivery and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects
- Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, planning, and procurement
- Collaborate with contracts and operations managers to deliver project tasks and outcomes
- Review and validate project plans and drawings to ensure accuracy and buildability
- Engage and manage subcontractors to ensure safe systems of work are in place and complied with
- Manage project life cycle cost control, including pre-start budgeting, construction phase cost reporting, and forecasting
- Monitor and manage payment of invoices
- Ensure safety is managed to company and legal standards across all projects
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
- Professional Health & Safety qualification (CSCS Black card & SMSTS minimum)
- 12 years' post-graduation experience in the operational management of civil engineering projects gained from a Tier 2 contracting environment
- Experience with project planning software
- Experience in structural inspections, bridge repairs, and strengthening is essential
- The right to live and work in the UK
