Job Title: Despatch Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Despatch Clerk to join our team at People Solutions. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing clerical support to the traffic office and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide administrative support to the traffic office, including data entry and record-keeping
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and drivers to ensure seamless operations
* Monitor and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tachograph and driver hours
* Collaborate with other sites to implement best practices and improve efficiency
* Provide excellent customer service and meet customer needs
* Work closely with Transport Supervisors to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Update information accurately in computer systems
* Prepare daily reports at the end of each shift

Requirements:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Knowledge of transport and working hours regulations
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
* Experience working in a transport office environment
* Desirable: experience working afternoon shifts in a transport office
