Job Title: Senior Technical Lead

The Role

You'll work with our skilled team to deliver complex tasking to our key customers. Your responsibilities will include developing workstreams, solving in-service structural issues and defects, developing new technical capabilities, and representing the Structures Engineering Team at Customer meetings, Working Groups, and Conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing workstreams and supporting key customers;
  • Solving in-service structural issues and defects;
  • Developing new technical capabilities;
  • Representing the Structures Engineering Team at Customer meetings, Working Groups, and Conferences;
  • Sustainment and growth of capabilities through training.

Essential Experience:

  • Experienced Engineer with a marine structures background, ideally with submarine-specific knowledge;
  • Experience in management and delivery of technical outputs, as well as coordinating and working with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Scoping and quality assurance of technical projects;
  • Experience of leading project teams to successful delivery;
  • Evidence of coaching more junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience);
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer Status with the UK Engineering Council and holds full membership of a relevant engineering institute (or willingness to work towards chartership within first 6 months of employment).

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
