Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and drive business growth in our North East Derbyshire office.

Description

  1. Manage the delivery of financial reports, including management and statutory accounts, to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  2. Coordinating with the external auditors to close the year-end accounts and prepare for audits.
  3. Leading the preparation of tax returns, ensuring accurate submissions and minimizing liabilities.
  4. Developing and implementing financial models to analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Providing financial insights and recommendations to the management team to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Managing a team of accountants to ensure effective execution of financial tasks and projects.
  7. Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
  8. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong technical skills in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Proven experience in managing financial teams and leading projects.
