Job Description:
The Wayman Learning Trust is seeking a skilled Year 2 Teacher to join its team in Islington, North London. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in January, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students.

**Responsibilities:**
Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required

**Requirements:**
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

**Estimated Salary:** £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
