Job Title: SME - Cloud (CL1)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Microland. As a key member of our cloud services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement VDI solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Intune and SCCM
  • Perform daily VDI administration, maintenance, and upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VDI issues, providing tier 2/3 incident ticket support and assistance in maintaining VDI golden images and installing client applications
  • Develop plans for deploying and administering virtual machines, images, and virtual apps
  • Assist with researching, evaluating, and recommending VDI-related hardware, software, and services
  • Collaborate with operational counterparts to support and discover opportunities for improvement via automation, process improvements, etc.
  • Perform advanced problem analysis and isolate problems of moderate to high complexity, with little instruction from team leads and/or management
  • Achieve and adhere to established Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Microsoft certification in cloud computing or related field
  • Experience with VDI solutions, Microsoft technologies, and cloud infrastructure
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
