Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our dynamic research nursing team within the Bone Marrow Transplant speciality. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting high standards of patient care and research practice.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a paediatric nurse with BMT experience to gain research experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our experienced team of research nurses to deliver high-quality research portfolios and contribute to the development of new research protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and managing patient care in the BMT unit
  • Recruiting, educating, and monitoring patients within clinical trials
  • Developing and implementing research protocols and procedures
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Providing education and training to patients and families
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse and relevant nursing qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relating to clinical speciality
  • Leadership and management training
  • Assessor or practice supervisor qualification/experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse backgrounds and perspectives
