Residential Care Management Role

Job Summary

Medsolve is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Deputy Home Manager in their Newcastle-based care home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to lead a team and make a positive impact on the lives of care home residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support services to residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the Home Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of caregivers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the care home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements

Candidates for this role should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a care home environment.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Satisfactory DBS check and employment references.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £14.51 per hour and benefits such as employee mentoring and health & wellbeing programs. The ideal candidate will be based in our Newcastle care home and will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
