Hairdressing Lecturer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdressing Lecturer to join our team at Loughborough College. As a Hairdressing Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their qualifications successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver inspirational teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in Hairdressing and Barbering qualifications.
• Plan and prepare innovative and effective lessons, assessing and giving feedback on a regular basis.
• Mark and standardise work in line with exam board regulations, engaging with internal and external moderation processes.
• Monitor the performance of students against Alps target grades, providing effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade.
• Work evenings and demonstrate strong digital literacy skills to teach remotely.

Requirements:

• Experience of teaching and assessment to a high standard, ensuring learners gain the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their qualifications successfully.
• Experience of delivering Hairdressing qualifications at all levels.
• Ability to work evenings and demonstrate strong digital literacy skills.
