About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to join our team at uSwitch, a leading provider of short-term insurance solutions. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, efficient insurer services to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Underwriting team in maintaining and developing successful relationships with our panel of insurers
  • Resolve underwriting queries from insurers and customers
  • Lead the creation of clear and concise requirements for our development teams to develop/build new insurance products
  • Lead on the provision of MI and insurer reports, identifying focus areas where appropriate
  • Lead on the delivery of underwriting governance and regulatory activity
  • Active involvement in insurer meetings, managing and delivering upon actions, where appropriate
What You'll Bring

  • Experience of working in Personal Lines Insurance
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office/Google Workspace software, including Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs
  • Ability to use MI/Analysis tools preferred (Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables)
