About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter/Joiner to join our team at TQR. As a key member of our workshop and exhibition team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality joinery projects that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture bespoke joinery items, including cabinets, counters, and displays, to the highest standard of finish and craftsmanship.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design plans to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Work with a wide range of materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, laminates, and MDF, to create high-quality joinery projects.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to shape, cut, and assemble components, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Carpenter, preferably in workshop and exhibition settings.
  • Competent in using woodworking machinery, including saws, planers, and sanders.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately, ensuring precise project delivery.
  • Knowledge of various materials, including wood, laminates, and veneers, to create high-quality joinery projects.
