Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nightcare Team Member to join our residential child care team in East Lothian. This is a temporary maternity cover position, approximately 9 months, working part-time hours of 27.75 per week.

About the Role

This role involves providing direct support to children and young people in a team setting, utilizing your HNC in Child Care and SVQ level 3 qualifications. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, while promoting their personal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
Requirements
  • HNC in Child Care or equivalent qualification
  • SVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in residential child care
  • A full current driving licence (desirable)
  • PVG membership (required)
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £34,126 - £38,159 per year, pro-rated to part-time hours. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
