Electronic Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Apprentice Quality Engineer at Engage Recruitment Ltd.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment, with excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001).
Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits on business systems and processes to meet ISO standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Root cause analysis, handling corrective actions to closure, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Interacting with customers, staff on the production line, dealing with any necessary issues, and monitoring supplier performance.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in quality engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment.
- An understanding of quality improvement programmes and IPC electronic assembly knowledge would be advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Package and Benefits:
- Salary up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday, 7am-5pm) with opportunities for flexible working.
- Over 6 weeks of annual leave, plus a Christmas shutdown (24th December to 6th January).
