Job Title: Environmental Quality Coordinator

At Bennett (Construction) Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Quality Coordinator to join our team. This role will be based in our London office but will involve regular visits to our sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality and Environmental Management System: Coordinate a robust Quality and Environmental Management System by providing support to the site and office teams to ensure compliance with our current Q&E policies and procedures.
  • KPI Development and Implementation: Formulate and manage the further development and implementation of KPI's, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to Quality & Environmental systems, ensuring they align with our Integrated Management System.
  • Procore Platform Implementation: Embed the Procore platform across the company by training to become a Super User and providing ongoing training to new and existing employees.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships across the company to ensure policies and requirements are being implemented into the day-to-day business.
  • Quality and Environmental Standards: Ensure consistency of Quality and Environmental standards across the sites and offices by upskilling employees and promoting a culture of continuous improvement amongst the project teams.
  • ISO 45001 Integration: Ensure the Q&E procedures integrate with the ISO 45001 Safety Management System by regular coordination with our Safety Personnel.
  • Quality Plan and Waste Management: Research and develop Quality Plan and Waste Management templates where required and provide upskilling to staff where necessary.
  • Site Visits and Inspection Reports: Carry out site visits and inspection reports relating to the Environmental and Quality performance of the company and report to Senior Management.
  • Progress Reports: Provide weekly progress reports and feedback to Senior Management.
  • Document Control: Document control for Environmental topics related to ongoing projects, including waste generation estimates, waste disposal logs, etc.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Construction Engineering/Construction Management or similar.
  • Good understanding of the lifecycle of a large construction project, ideally with a Main Contractor.
  • A genuine interest in and understanding of quality and environmental issues.
  • Proven ability to provide support, guidance, and training when needed.
  • Willing to learn new techniques and take on additional projects.
