The Role - Field Service Engineer, Mass Spectrometry

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a Field Service Engineer responsible for:

  1. Providing scientific, technical and training support
  2. Investigating and troubleshooting queries
  3. Collecting and analysing data
  4. Handling customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  5. Working closely with the sales, service, marketing and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Mass Spectrometry

To succeed in this exciting role, you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  1. Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with extensive experience of using High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  2. Or as a Field Service Engineer, Applications Engineer or Technical Support Engineer working on a range of High Performance Liquid Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry systems
  3. Ideally you will be educated with an HNC, HND or BSc in a life science or engineering discipline
  4. Minimum of 2 years experience with life sciences instrumentation
  5. Full UK driving licence
  6. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
