About the Role
Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Substation Build Specialist to join our UK Power Networks contract in Hertfordshire. As a High Voltage Cable Jointer, you will be part of our substation build team responsible for delivering Capital Programme works on 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in jointing and terminating 11kV and 33kV cables onto High Voltage equipment. Additionally, they will possess strong knowledge of electrical fitting activities on High Voltage switch gear, transformers, and associated equipment, as well as earthing systems and outdoor equipment such as bus bars, disconnectors, and switchgear.

This role requires a high degree of manual dexterity, with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk/stand on uneven ground. The ideal candidate will also be able to work within confined spaces without restriction.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits including 21 days' annual leave, pension scheme, life assurance, and personal accident insurance.
