Job Summary

ALPLA UK Limited is seeking a skilled Transporter to join our team at our Golborne site. As a Transporter, you will be responsible for the collection and movement of finished packed products to the automated wrapper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and move finished packed products to the automated wrapper in a busy packing environment.
  • Bring all required packing materials to the packing lines.
  • Operate equipment safely and correctly, including a pedestrian ride-on truck, FLT, and pallet wrapper, in a heavy pedestrian area.
  • Identify and report poor quality in materials or finished goods.
  • Be flexible and willing to undertake new tasks as required.
  • Work in accordance with in-housekeeping and 5S guidelines to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Counterbalance FLT license required.
