Job Description:
HG Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Newborn Care Provider to join our healthcare recruitment agency in South West England.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neonatal Nursing and be able to provide expert care to newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or experiencing complications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and care for neonates in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Provide expert care to newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or experiencing complications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of six months of post-qualification experience in a Neonatal setting within the preceding three years is required at the time of application
- Skills and Experience:
- Specialised training or experience in Neonatal Nursing
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Completion of mandatory training relevant to the role (e.g. BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Adults and Children)
Salary: $45-$95 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for overtime
