About the Opportunity

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher (HPE and Humanities - Business) to join their vibrant school community.

This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term contract for approximately 12 months, commencing 1 October 2024. The ideal applicant will have the ability to teach the Business subject, while HPE is essential and a component of Humanities.

This role also has a possibility of being combined with an Acting Middle Leadership position as a Year Level Guardian for 12 months.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • To be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
  • To have an understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate, and provide for, a diverse range of abilities

  • To have a willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement
