Overview


The HR Business Partner role at LMA Recruitment is a dynamic opportunity to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.


Maintaining an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition is essential.



  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units to ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide HR guidance to line management, analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues while maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
  • Partner with the legal department as needed, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing legal risks.
  • Offer performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster strong work relationships, improve morale, increase productivity and retention by working closely with management and employees.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, developing contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Support international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Guide business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs, participating in evaluation and monitoring of training programs.
  • Ensure training objectives are met through follow-up efforts.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills, meeting deadlines with ease, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Requirements and Qualifications


To excel in this role, you should possess a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.


A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.


Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
