Job Title: Senior Staff Nurse - Trauma & Orthopaedic Outpatient Department

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic Outpatient Department at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and contributing to the development of our outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex wounds and trauma injuries
  • Lead a team of nurses in the outpatient department, ensuring smooth clinic flow and effective communication
  • Develop and implement wound care protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our outpatient services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs
Requirements:
  • Active 1st-level registration with the NMC
  • Relevant post-registration qualification at level 3
  • Qualification in teaching, assessing, and mentoring
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a nursing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
