About the Role:We are seeking a Dietician to oversee and administer all clinical aspects of patients' nutritional care. This is a key position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of nutrition therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screen and Assess Patient's Nutritional Status: Develop a comprehensive care plan for each patient based on their individual needs.
- Instruct Patients and Families: Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and provide ongoing support.
- Participate in Consultations: Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective nutrition plans.
- Monitor Ongoing Support: Document patient information and monitor the effectiveness of nutrition support.
- Supervise Others: Provide guidance and oversight to other team members as needed.
- Participate in Team Conferences: Plan and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Assume Supervisory Responsibilities: Step in as needed to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition: One year of job-related experience or equivalent required.
- American Dietetic Registration: Required for this position.
