Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and profit growth through effective execution of commercial plans.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understand customer business strategies and growth drivers.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, consumer behavior, and emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure innovation plans are successfully implemented.
  • Align commercial strategies with brand marketing efforts to ensure a cohesive and impactful market presence.
  • Support the Senior Management Team in defining budgets, targets, and growth-driven initiatives.
  • Identify and execute business opportunities to increase brand visibility and market share.
  • Negotiate cost price changes, range, distribution, shelf positioning, and promotional activities to build the brand within the customer portfolio.
  • Formulate customer-specific plans and strategies in line with accountable budgets, costing, packaging, and retail prices.
  • Manage Own Label contracts, including securing new business, maintaining current business, and managing the profit and loss statement in a commodity-driven environment.
  • Create and maintain demand forecasts at volume, value, and profit levels in collaboration with the demand planning team.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to build effective customer service and fulfillment to each retailer.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust forward plans to ensure brand growth.

About You

You must have extensive knowledge of managing corporate food brands at a senior level. You will be experienced in growing branded business in a high-paced environment, with a demonstrable record of working to key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieving targets. You will be commercially astute through analysis and data interpretation, able to inform the wider business with strategic decisions that result in revenue growth and development of new business channels.
