Job Title: Trading Operation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trading Operation Manager to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business.

About the Role:

The Trading Operation Manager will provide senior-level leadership and support across the team, motivating and leading a team of circa 12 people. You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day trading operation processing activities in line with agreed procedures and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the work of assigned staff based on the direction of the Head of Market Operations.
  • Plan and allocate team resources to meet priorities and manage issues.
  • Coach staff in issue resolution and act as an escalation point.
  • Support the Head of Market Operations in designing and implementing appropriate KPIs and operational targets for the team.
  • Lead ongoing process improvement and training activity.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Trading Operations team and the Operations and Asset Management Directorate.
  • Coordinate the management of audits.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience with excellent analysis, judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Developed people skills with experience of coordinating the work of others.
  • Experience of designing and implementing business process improvements.
  • Effective communicator, both verbal and written communications, and comfortable in presenting to large groups.
  • Third level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
