Job Role: Maths Tutor

We are seeking a skilled Maths Tutor to join our team at HMP Leicester. As a Maths Tutor, you will work with small groups of prison-based learners to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths training to learners
  • Develop and implement effective training plans
  • Provide guidance and support to learners
  • Monitor and evaluate learner progress

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Maths qualification
  • Substantial vocational experience in Maths
  • Experience of delivering vocational-based training
  • Teaching or assessing qualification desirable
