Job Title: Lead Engineering Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineering Designer to join our team at Kintec Global Recruitment. As a Lead Engineering Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of engineering projects, including the creation of technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their tasks.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a lead engineering design role, preferably in the construction, mining, or nuclear industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering design principles and practices, including CAD software and 3D modeling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
