About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-Flight Review Director to join our Audit Quality Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading in-flight reviews in the construction and engineering sector, supporting AQST Partners and coaching AQST managers and senior managers on in-flight reviews and other quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in-flight reviews in the construction and engineering sector.
  • Support AQST Partners and coach AQST managers and senior managers on in-flight reviews and other quality initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with audit teams and coach them throughout the process of in-flight reviews.
  • Assist the Audit Learning and Development Team in reviews of technical training content.
  • Work with the Audit Quality Support Team on ad hoc non-sector specific projects, including supporting external regulatory reviews where relevant.

Requirements

  • ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Currently operating at director level or experienced senior manager level.
  • Strong experience of working on audits of PIEs and listed entities, and of entities operating in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of UK auditing, ethical, and accounting standards, including IFRS.
