The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Store Leader to join our team in Peterborough. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store performance.
Key Responsibilities- SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM TO CREATE A SUPERIOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, driving the culture and embedding our Purpose principles to ensure that our people display the values, behaviours and actions required to help customers be Happier about Money
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, focusing on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and colleague engagement
- Motivate and lead your team to achieve sustainable returns, by doing the right thing, treating customers fairly, and developing your people to reach their full potential in our ever-changing Digital world
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of success
- A passion for exceptional customer experience, gained in a retail banking environment
- Superb communication and listening skills, and general ability to impress with your professional manner and actions
- The passion to be a Virgin Money ambassador, driving culture , our Purpose and our values
- SME knowledge of our retail products and services as well as our digital tools
- The ability to manage and communicate change effectively whilst driving all activities through our Purpose Lens
- A flexible working approach to suit customer needs and business demands.
- £42,000 - £58,000 per annum DOE (dependent on experience)
- Generous holidays - 38.5 days annual leave (including bank holidays and prorated if part-time) plus the option to buy more
- Up to five extra paid well-being days per year
