About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Specialist to join our team at Keoghs. As a key member of our counter-fraud division, you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing fraudulent insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of litigated RTA suspected fraud files on behalf of insurance clients.
  • Work closely with fraud specialists and legal support staff to achieve the best possible results in a commercially sound manner.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in conjunction with Lead Lawyers to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of evidence to identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedural and investigative deadlines, as well as adherence to file management policies.
Requirements
  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler.
  • Knowledge of insurance litigation practice and processes, including indemnity principles.
  • Good advocacy skills and ability to prioritize work, keep to deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions.
  • Experience of time recording and billing systems.
  • Excellent IT skills.
