About You

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Excellent communication skills to assist at all levels and convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Flexibility to support the business as and when required outside normal business hours.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • A methodical, step-by-step approach to resolving issues.
  • Confidence in supporting Cisco Firepower's, next-gen features, DNA, ISE, and Wireless first networks.
  • Adaptability to do a range of work— sometimes complex and non-routine— in different environments.
  • Ability to work under direction, use discretion, and determine when to escalate issues.
  • Understanding of the inner workings of an IT department to effectively triage tickets and queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid the Infrastructure Support team in efforts to maintain the network and telephony infrastructure within the Bank.
  • Respond promptly to support tickets, queries, and fault reports.
  • Support Network projects where required.
  • Understand the inner workings of an IT department to effectively triage tickets and queries.
  • Ensure all related systems are running and functioning properly.
  • Support ongoing projects.
  • Develop a wider than normal understanding of the traffic flow between locations and inside and outside of the organization.
  • Patch and secure all network hardware.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 with one hour for lunch.
