Tutor and Trainer

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountancy Tutor to join our team at Talent Finder. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality accountancy training to our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching/coordinating our accounting training and delivering Functional Skills to our Apprentices and adult learners in small classes (of 18 learners max). An Accountant with practical experience and teaching experience will be desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions
• Teaching accountancy, business administration, and functional skills courses
• Supporting apprentices through regular reviews, task assessments, and portfolio guidance
• Assessing and marking assignments in line with deadlines and quality standards
• Supervising accounting tasks performed by apprentices

We offer a competitive salary of £28,124 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The role also comes with 20 days + 8 Statutory Bank Holidays, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to balance their work and personal life.

• AAT Technician level qualification (minimum)
• Teaching qualifications (e.g., A1) preferred
• Practical experience in accounting roles
• Experience in delivering functional skills training (preferred but not essential)
• Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts, Excel, and other IT tools

You will be based in either New Cross or Gillingham, both of which have excellent transportation links.
