The Warehouse Operative will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Logistics Manager to ensure the efficient processing of orders and the timely delivery of materials to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack goods for dispatch
  • Book and put away inbound goods within KPI targets
  • Process orders efficiently and meet customer delivery timescales
  • Work with the team to achieve a stock accuracy target of 99% and maintain traceability in the SAP ERP system
  • Follow all relevant procedures and processes in line with company requirements
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Identify continuous improvements
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as required
  • Support and comply with Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of sensitive and confidential information
  • Good time management and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent listening and acknowledgement skills
  • Team player with good attention to detail
  • Self-motivator with good organizational skills
  • A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse and distribution environment
  • SAP experience
  • Certificate of dangerous goods handling
  • Forklift Reach Truck license
  • Good IT skills around Microsoft Office suite of products

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary £27,000 plus 25% bonus
