Job Title: Interim Policy, Public Affairs and Advocacy Manager

The Maine Group is seeking an experienced Interim Policy, Public Affairs and Advocacy Manager to join our team on an urgent basis. As a key member of our Public Affairs team, you will be responsible for delivering direct advocacy to Prospective Parliamentary Candidates and providing analysis of election results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct advocacy to Prospective Parliamentary Candidates using our organisation's manifesto where appropriate.
  • Provide analysis of election results and prepare welcome materials for new Government and incoming ministers.
  • Prepare advocacy asks and messaging for the next government, including the first 100 days in government.
  • Map out immediate actions required regarding All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs).
  • Provide main advocacy and election point of contact for the organisation, responding to organisational queries and updates for commercial partners where needed.
