About the Role:

The Head of Independent Connection Provider will take full ownership of the electrical connections division, driving business growth, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering outstanding client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the ICP division, aligning with overall business goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the design, management, and delivery of electrical connections, ensuring adherence to DNO/IDNO standards, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled team of engineers, project managers, and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, and other stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and service delivery.
  • Commercial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Innovation: Drive process improvements and leverage new technologies to enhance project efficiency and delivery standards.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior role within the ICP, DNO, or energy infrastructure sectors.
  • Deep understanding of electrical connections processes, industry regulations, and technical standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong financial and commercial management skills, with a track record of driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
