About the Role

iMap Centre Limited is a renowned education and support provider dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with complex needs. Our 84-acre campus in Cheshire offers a unique environment for students aged 7-19 to thrive, learn, and grow.

As a SEN teacher at iMap Centre, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides first-class support to our students. You will work closely with the Principal/Deputy to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, focusing on individualized strategies to raise achievement and meet EHCP targets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent progress.
  • Providing regular feedback and updates to parents/careers on student progress.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students. As a SEN teacher, you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and adhere to our Child Protection Policy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • QTS/NQT or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience working with students with Autism and other learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to think creatively and adapt to changing situations.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and scrutiny frameworks.
