We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at a well-established school in Farnborough. As a dedicated and passionate teacher, you will play a vital role in providing tailored educational support to students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver engaging lessons adapted to the needs of students with SEN, promoting academic and personal growth.
- Support students with a range of learning difficulties, including autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to create individualized learning plans, ensuring each student receives the necessary support to succeed.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with SEN students in either a mainstream or specialist school.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting each student's individual needs.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
