Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Red Bull Technology in Milton Keynes. This is a site-based role where you will be working on various projects, supporting the expansion of our F1 facilities. You will be responsible for managing construction trades around a live working environment, planning and coordinating work activities on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site management of construction trades, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Delivering smaller projects independently after an initial training period.
  • Scoping up packages of works, obtaining quotes, reviewing, and instructing works.
  • Preparing and reviewing project H&S documentation, including contractor RAMS prior to works on site.
  • Developing and reviewing project delivery programs and tracking against them, managing risks.
  • Collaborating with Senior Project Managers to drive design and delivery of larger projects.
  • Liaising daily with departments and contractors during project delivery phases.

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding of building services and/or construction techniques.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Dynamic thinking and determination to see projects through to completion.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of the design process and building services systems.
  • Familiarity with the construction process and project management software.
