About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Science Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a SEN Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible science lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting the overall development and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning activities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • A good Primary education background
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for teaching and learning
