We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band B Special Care Dentist to join our team at Chippenham Dental Access Centre. As a key member of our community dental service, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients with additional needs, working in a variety of settings including domiciliary care and acute hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of clinical dental care for people with additional needs, including treatment under general anaesthesia and sedation.
- Lead and manage a team of dental officers, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team and oral health promotion staff to provide comprehensive dental care to patients.
- Meet personal performance targets, including clinical activity and management tasks.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
We are looking for a dentist with:
- BDS or equivalent qualification.
- Appropriate postgraduate qualification.
- Full registration with the General Dental Council.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Significant experience of providing routine dental care and working in Special Care Dentistry.
