Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team at TDA Telecoms. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our company.

Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical installations in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. They will conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems, identifying and rectifying any faults or issues in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

  • Carry out routine maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faults to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspection and testing activities, completing necessary documentation and reports as required.
  • Liaise with clients and team members to provide clear communication on project progress, ensuring client needs and expectations are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Fully qualified electrician with a valid ECS gold card.
  • Proficiency in Testing and Inspection, holding a certification in this area.
  • Strong understanding of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial electrical industry.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driving license is required, as the role is site-based and may require travel to various locations.
