We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Specialist to join our team at CLFIS Limited. This role will involve reviewing and approving deferred member option calculations, maintaining and developing internal models, and providing technical guidance to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve deferred member option calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and develop internal models to support deferred member option calculations, ensuring data quality and model reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including business development teams and external advisors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement efficient systems.
  • Ensure decisions are made with a customer-centric focus, building relationships across the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified actuary to take on a leadership role in our BPA team. If you have experience in defined benefit pension schemes, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and legislative requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
  • Able to build relationships and gain trust at all levels, with strong leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates personal drive, energy, persistence, and self-motivation, with awareness of their part in the wider business.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate complex issues verbally and in writing to senior audiences.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including a generous pension scheme, bonus, income protection, private medical insurance, and life assurance.
