Private Client Tax Services

The Private Client Tax Services team helps individuals from all walks of life with their tax issues. With a diverse client base, including high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs, our team supports clients with tax compliance obligations and liaises with HMRC on their behalf.

This role offers hands-on practical experience, combining technical skills with business acumen. You will be given responsibility from an early stage in your career, taking on more senior roles and supervising new trainees as your experience grows.

You will study towards the ATT/CTA qualification, gaining the finance knowledge and accountancy skills necessary to succeed in this field. Our dedicated Learning & Development team provides guidance and support every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and third parties to obtain necessary information.
• Prepare basic tax returns or repayment claim forms.
• Advise clients on forthcoming tax liabilities and matters affecting them.
• Assist in preparing tax advice for clients, including technical research and strategic planning.
• Deal with correspondence from clients, HMRC, and other third parties.

Requirements

• A Level: Predicted or obtained minimum 112 UCAS points in top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
• GCSE: Minimum Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths respectively.
• Be committed to completing the Associate Tax Technician and Chartered Tax Advisor (ATT/CTA) qualifications on a Level 7 apprenticeship.
