Job Overview

University College Birmingham is seeking an experienced Aesthetician to join our Department of Creative Industries as an Associate Lecturer in Aesthetics. This exciting opportunity will enable you to share your industry expertise and passion for teaching with the next generation of professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of modules, including theoretical and practical content. You will also maintain active links with industry, contribute to the development of learning opportunities, and support student progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective and engaging teaching sessions to students
  • Maintain industry connections and contribute to the development of learning materials
  • Support student progress and provide guidance on academic work
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of educational initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Aesthetics or related field
  • Proven industry experience in Aesthetics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
