About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Fabrication Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling aircraft components to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively complete fine limit sheet metal work to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Fabricate various items to satisfy demand, using technical drawings and specifications.
  • Manufacture components from technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure productivity is maintained and all targets met, working collaboratively with the production team.
  • Work within and promote the Behavioural Competencies, adhering to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings, using hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Experience in using various sheet metal fabrication equipment, with a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Indentured apprenticeship, or relevant level 3 qualification, in a related field such as aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with Military MRP 145 and associated Regulatory Articles (RA's) is desirable.
