We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic House for Duty Priest to join our community in Hurst, Berkshire.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead and empower individuals and groups to further God's work in a picturesque village with strong community ties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working two full days per week plus Sundays at the historic church of St Nicholas.

A beautiful four-bedroom house is available in the heart of Hurst, within easy walking distance to the church, school, village shop, and numerous pubs.

London is just a 30-minute train ride away on the Elizabeth Line, making this an ideal location for those who want to maintain a balance between rural living and city convenience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading worship and services at St Nicholas Church

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong Christian faith and values, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the congregation and local community.

A satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check is required for this position.
