The role of Decontamination Specialist involves processing reusable medical devices within the Central Decontamination Unit. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of decontamination procedures and the ability to provide a reliable service that meets the specific needs of users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a decontamination service that adheres to the requirements of various policies and procedures. Full training will be provided for all aspects of this post.

  • Ability to work flexibly, including day shift rotational hours

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description: The Decontamination Specialist will be responsible for the processing of reusable medical devices within the Central Decontamination Unit. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of decontamination procedures and the ability to provide a reliable service that meets the specific needs of users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Decontamination or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
