Teaching Assistant Roles with Guardian Education

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team at Guardian Education. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in primary schools across South Manchester, Derbyshire, and Trafford.

About the Role

As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, and provide individualized support to students who require additional help.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional help
  • Assist with creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
Requirements
  • Secure knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Recent and relevant experience in teaching in the UK
