We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Import Merchandiser to join our dynamic team at Amelia Knight Cosmetics Ltd. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of customer orders and maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Create and manage purchase orders and customer sales orders in Sage, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, directors, and project managers, to provide regular status updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure all accompanying documentation is accurate and available to the manufacturing site by the agreed deadlines, including artwork, carton markings, and cost analysis.
- Liaise with the shipping and logistics team to ensure vessel bookings are made in line with customer and UK requirements.
- Assist in resolving customer enquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the planning and purchasing team to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.
- Contribute to regular customer meetings and calls to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update the sales tracker weekly to ensure accuracy and avoid double counting.
- Collaborate with the AKM team to ensure componentry samples meet quality standards prior to shipment.
- Participate in handover meetings from development teams for new products to manage for production.
- Manage customer order systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across all sites.
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Maths and English proficiency
- Experience of Sage X3 is preferred
