Dietetics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietetics Specialist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our acute dietetic team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist nutrition advice to patients with chronic kidney disease.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver a service to outpatients with chronic kidney disease stages 4-5 across the county, providing specialist nutrition advice and support.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team on inpatient wards, providing inpatient care for dialysis patients and advanced kidney care patients.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with complex presentations and multipathologies, providing effective monitoring and care.
- Train staff, including dietitians, nurses, and doctors, on specialist nutrition topics.
- Provide advice and training to patients, carers, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to promote an understanding of the aims of dietetic treatment.
