Job Title: Asset Engineer for Maintenance and Renewals
Description:
The role of Asset Engineer for Maintenance and Renewals is to support the engineering department in defining and improving asset management for effective, safe, and reliable performance of Metrolink's S & T assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing performance data and reporting on asset performance and condition to drive improvement through renewals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the delivery of internal projects and providing technical support to frontline maintainers.
- Engaging with client stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are delivered satisfactorily.
- Collaborating with internal engineering teams and applying reliability-centred maintenance to drive maintenance efficiency and asset performance improvement.
- Contributing to the delivery of a high-performing team through ensuring objectives, standards, and key performance indicators are met.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a STEM subject and/or experience of working in an engineering environment.
- Chartered Engineer or willingness to work towards.
- Knowledge of Signalling and Telecoms assets and Reliability Centred Maintenance principles.
- Experience working in a light rail or rail environment and using a Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Ability to analyze data from a range of sources, including quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong communication skills and excellent IT skills.
